Skin spots arise due to a change in the production of the protein responsible for skin color, melanin. They are usually brownish spots and tend to get worse over time, especially with sun exposure. The appearance of spots on the face and hands is more common, as they are areas of greater sun exposure. There are no anti-blemish creams capable of preventing and correcting even those caused by wounds and acne.
